Shout out to Junior Brent! You may know him from his infamous Whopper tomatoes here at Old Farm Truck Market, but he grows so much more. This year, Junior set a Virginia state record with a colossal 271‑lb watermelon — a testament to his skill, care, and commitment to sustainable, local farming. In the future look for his broccoli, collards and other greens in our fridges! We are happy celebrate a hometown grower who keeps our market thriving. Congrats, Junior!
