Old Farm Truck Market exists to do more than connect buyers and sellers. We're here to help local producers grow their businesses, and we only carry products that are sustainably produced — because we want a healthier Northern Neck not just now, but for generations to come.
That means supporting farmers who nourish the soil through natural composting and no-till practices. It means protecting our insects and ecosystems by promoting biodiversity through crop rotation and fostering natural habitats. And when it comes to animal welfare, ensuring that livestock have access to the outdoors and raised with minimal antibiotics or growth hormones.
We are a community of conscious producers, and everything we do is in service of bringing you food in its most natural state.

Fern Hollow Farm
A family owned farm located in the Northern Neck of Virginia. Husband and wife team Brian and Ginny Barnes raise naturally grown produce through high tunnel and field production. They are known for their amazing Elephant Garlic and Winter Squash although they are expanding to be diverse market growers.
Animals are raised in open pasture using rotational grazing. No routine antibiotics or hormones are given to the animals.

Junior Brent
We all know him and his delicious tomatoes! Farmer Jr. Brent is retired and lives in Ottoman Virginia … here in the Northern Neck. A long time partner of Old Farm Truck he is know for his amazing asparagus in the spring and Whopper tomatoes in the summer. He uses natural methods for growing and sometimes we are able to get fresh kale and broccoli in the fall!

Sion House Farm
Sustainable hydroponic and field vegetable farming in the Historic Northern Neck of Virginia. Family owned and operated, the Mckenney family supplies market with salad mix, tomatoes, cucumbers, winter squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes and onions among the many vegetables they grow. The County Line Farm Market in Callao Va. is owned by the family.
